Details – Here's a great example of a site making money with Google Adsense that could also easily be monetized with Amazon affiliate products. It is based around solving problems with phones and computers, so there are lots of opportunities for electronic products from Amazon to be added.
Keywords Targeted – It targets keywords related to phones and computers.
Backlinks – According to MajesticSEO there are 73 links in total.
What My Plan Would Be To Clone The Results – I would set up a brand new site using a domain name that had the word 'tech' in it. I would then create 3,000 word content posts that target relevant keywords and place Amazon native ads and Adsense on each page. I would most likely need to have 100+ posts on the site to become more of an authority but these can be added on an ongoing basis.
I would use social, Web 2.0 and PBN links to rank the site over the course of 12+ months. I would heavily focus on getting topically related and thematically related backlinks.
The aim would be to get to $1,000+ per month in profit and then sell for $20,000 - $30,000.
The Sniper Lab
The Sniper Lab is all about creating small 3-5 page websites that target buyer keywords with an Exact Match Domain (EMD).
You simply browse the Amazon marketplace to find products, then put those into the Google keyword planner and see what searches come up. Find one that gets 250+ searches a month that has a .com available domain and you're good to go!
You can use a free keyword tool like this one to get more accurate search volumes than the Google keyword planner now gives you.
These are really simple sites to make and each can make you 4 figures in profit when you sell them. They make great additions to add to your Amazon empire.

The Ranking Lab
Finding More Elusive Keywords
I've been playing with this tool for a little while now - https://answerthepublic.com/
It's great for finding keyword ideas that you might not normally think of. I shared a video about it on YouTube here:
But specifically for Amazon niche websites, there are many types of keywords that work amazingly and include words like:
best …
under 300
under 500
under 1000
luxury
cheap
… reviews
… review
best … for
vs
versus
… guide
how to …
By typing your main keywords into https://answerthepublic.com/ and combining them with the words above, you can add lots more keywords onto your sites and bring in a ton more free traffic.
Have a play around with it and you'll hopefully come up with lots of ideas!
The Q and A Lab
Questions that have been sent in this month:
Q – How do I know how much content to add?
A – The best way is to type your keyword into Google and check the top 10 sites. How many pages do they have? How many backlinks? By checking out the top 10 results, you can get a good idea of how big your site needs to be in order to rank aside those sites already ranking.
Q – Would I not be better off creating an Amazon FBA business instead?
A – Whilst there's money to be made selling your own products, there's also a huge amount of risk along with extra work too.
The reason I love Amazon associates, is because you can already see what is selling and target those products. With FBA, you have to take a risk on whether your products will actually sell for a profit. If you're going to give it a go, try and learn from an expert first before risking any money buying products.
Q – Would paid traffic not be faster than SEO?
A – Sure but it's also harder to make it profitable. The only way to get paid traffic to work is to target high ticket products and find a way to get cheap (but still targeted) clicks.
If using paid traffic, I would advise to send it to an optin page so you can collect their email addresses first before sending them to any products. If you send someone directly to Amazon then you can never contact them again and if they don't buy anything then they are gone for good.
SEO does take longer but the free traffic is worth it in the end.
